About the Islamic Center of Lake Travis

The Islamic Center of Lake Travis began as a heartfelt initiative by a small group of Muslim families residing in the Lake Travis and Steiner Ranch area who dreamt of a local place for worship and community gathering. Initially meeting in rented spaces, homes, and temporary prayer rooms, the community steadily grew, demonstrating a profound need for a permanent home.

Through persistent dedication, generous donations, and Allah's grace, ICLT officially established itself to serve the rapidly growing Muslim population in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Located in the scenic Lake Travis area, we offer a peaceful environment where community members can come together for daily prayers, educational programs, and special events.

We continue to build upon the foundations laid by our pioneers, striving to expand our services and facilities to meet the evolving needs of our diverse congregation. From our humble beginnings in temporary spaces, we have grown to serve hundreds of families with diverse backgrounds, all united by our shared faith and commitment to Islamic values.
